Anthony warned Shayla to stay away from Amber

I still can't believe he left her. After everything they went through. They’ve been together since they were kids.
— I know it’s hard to accept. But—please don’t take this the wrong way—I think he might be better off without her.
— Why would you even say that to me? You know how hard this has been. She stood by him every step of the way. Everything he has, she helped him build.
— And maybe she reminds him of that a little too often. Ever think about that?
— Wow. It’s easy for you to judge when you just came around. You don’t know their history.
— And yet she seems to have a lot to say about us. Even though we haven’t been together that long.
— Because she cares! She’s older, she’s been through this—marriage, raising kids. She knows more than we do.
— Then why is she alone now? If she’s so wise?
— Because she’s human. She’s strong, smart, beautiful, and she loves deeply. Maybe too deeply. She’s not perfect, but she’s a good woman. A good mother. A good wife.
— I’m not denying that. But sometimes love isn’t enough. Maybe he just needed peace. She talks at him, not to him.
— That’s not fair.
— And let’s be real—she’s always in our business. Always asking, always giving unsolicited advice.
— Because she’s my mom. That’s what moms do. One day, you’re gonna want to know what’s going on in your kid’s life too.
— Sure, but I’ll know when to back off. She doesn’t. She crosses lines constantly.
— All she’s done is try to help us.
— It doesn’t feel like help. It feels like control. Like she doesn’t trust me, or us.
— Then maybe she sees something you don’t want to admit.
— Or maybe that’s why he left. Because everything turned into a power struggle. Like now.
— This isn’t about them anymore. This is about us. And I don’t like how you talk about her.
— And I don’t like how she inserts herself into our relationship.
— I need to get the baby.
— What, gonna call her too? Tell her we fought again?
— No. But you really need to think about why this bothers you so much. Because right now, it feels like you’re not fighting for me—you’re fighting against anything that comes with me.
— I just want space to build something real—with you. Not with her hanging over us.
— Then act like you’re with me, not against my family. Because if you can’t do that, what are we really building?
One walks out of the room. The other sits down, head in hands.
