"Anthony Kicks Out Shayla & Kai – DNA Test Demands Spark Debate"

The New DNA Test That Shook Everything

Anthony sat at the edge of the couch, his hands locked together, staring at the floor. Shayla was standing near the kitchen counter, arms crossed, her face tight with frustration. The air between them was heavy, and finally Anthony broke the silence.

Anthony: “Shayla, I can’t do this anymore. I want you to pack up and go. Take Kai with you.”

Shayla blinked, thinking she misheard him.

Shayla: “What? Anthony, are you serious right now? You’re telling me to leave? With Kai?”

Anthony: “Yes. Both of you. I can’t keep living like this, wondering, doubting… it’s eating me alive.”

Shayla shook her head, tears already forming.

Shayla: “Doubting what? Doubting me? Doubting your own son? Anthony, Kai is yours. How can you even question that?”

Anthony: “Because the timing doesn’t add up, Shayla. People keep whispering things, and every time I look at him, I wonder. I shouldn’t feel like this as a father. If he’s mine, I want to know. If he’s not… then I’ve been living a lie.”

Shayla stepped closer, her voice breaking.

Shayla: “You’re calling me a liar? After everything? After the nights I stayed up with him while you were out working? After the sacrifices I made so this family could stay together?”

Anthony: “I’m not saying you didn’t sacrifice. I’m saying I don’t know the truth anymore. And until I do, I can’t look at you the same.”

Shayla let out a bitter laugh through her tears.

Shayla: “So what, you’re just going to throw us out? You’d rather believe rumors than the woman who stood by you? You’re going to make Kai homeless over some insecurity?”

Anthony: “Don’t twist this on me. I’ve tried to ignore it. I’ve told myself I was overthinking, but the doubt keeps coming back. I can’t be at peace until I know for sure.”

Shayla’s voice rose, sharp and angry.

Shayla: “You want proof? Fine. Do your damn DNA test. But don’t you dare stand there and act like Kai isn’t your son. He loves you, Anthony. He runs to the door every evening waiting for you. You’re breaking his heart before you even get the results.”

Anthony’s eyes softened for a moment, but his tone stayed firm.

Anthony: “You think this is easy for me? You think I want to doubt the little boy who calls me daddy? Every time he smiles at me, I pray I’m wrong for even questioning it. But I can’t keep living with a maybe. I need the truth, Shayla. I need it, even if it hurts.”

Kai, hearing the raised voices, wandered in clutching his toy car.

Kai: “Mommy? Daddy? Why are you mad?”

Shayla quickly wiped her face and crouched down.

Shayla: “We’re not mad at you, baby. You did nothing wrong.”

Anthony turned away, his chest tightening. He couldn’t even look at his son without guilt washing over him.

Outside Influence

That night, Anthony scrolled through his phone. The posts and comments online only added fuel to the fire.

“Anthony’s weak for kicking them out.”

“Shayla should move on and find her own place.”

“They need a DNA test, that’s the only way forward.”

Anthony tossed the phone aside, his mind spinning.

Anthony (to himself): “Am I the bad guy here? Or am I just finally being honest with myself?”

Meanwhile, Shayla sat on her friend’s couch, venting her anger and pain.

Shayla: “He humiliated me. Kicked me out like I was nothing. And now the whole world is talking about me like I’m some liar. After all I’ve done for him.”

Her friend listened quietly, then spoke carefully.

Friend: “Shayla, if you know the truth, then maybe the test isn’t something to fear. Maybe it’s the only way to end this once and for all.”

Shayla wiped her eyes, her voice bitter.

Shayla: “It’s not just about the test. It’s about the fact he didn’t trust me. Once that doubt is there, it changes everything.”

The Emotional Crossroads

Back home, Anthony sat staring at a framed photo of Kai on the mantle. He picked it up, tracing the boy’s smile with his thumb.

Anthony (whispering): “If you’re really mine, I’ll never let anyone hurt you. But if you’re not… how do I even begin to let go?”

At the same time, Shayla was lying awake, staring at the ceiling. Kai slept peacefully beside her, unaware of the storm tearing his parents apart.

Shayla (to herself): “How did we get here? We were supposed to be building a family. Now it’s just questions and blame.”

The Next Morning

Anthony called Shayla early. His voice was calm but heavy.

Anthony: “I’ve booked the appointment. For the test.”

Silence hung on the line before Shayla answered.

Shayla: “Fine. But remember this, Anthony. No matter what those results say, the damage is already done. You chose doubt over trust.”

Anthony closed his eyes, fighting back his emotions.

Anthony: “And if the results prove Kai is mine, then I’ll spend every day making it up to him. But I can’t take another step forward until I know the truth.”

Shayla hung up, tears streaming down her face

. For her, the wound wasn’t just about the test. It was about the man she loved no longer believing her.
