😱 “DNA Doesn’t Lie: The Truth Finally Breaks Shayla’s World Apart”
The silence was unbearable. You could almost hear the fear in the air. Everyone was there — Larry, Bethany, Shayla, Anthony, and Iman — each of them trying to look calm but failing miserably.
On the table sat the envelope — small, white, and terrifying. It held the truth everyone had been running from.
The doctor adjusted his glasses, his voice low but steady.
Doctor: “These are the official DNA results. Once I read this… there’s no going back.”
Shayla’s hands trembled in her lap. Her pulse was racing so fast it hurt.
Shayla (whispering): “Just say it. Please… just say it.”
Anthony leaned against the wall, arms crossed, his jaw tight.
Anthony: “Whatever it says, I already know the truth.”
Bethany rolled her eyes but her voice shook.
Bethany: “You said that last time, and look where we are now.”
The doctor sighed and tore open the envelope. The paper crackled — that single sound made everyone freeze. He read silently for a moment, then looked up.
Doctor: “According to the DNA test… the biological father of Shayla’s baby is—”
He hesitated, eyes darting between the two men.
Doctor: “—Larry.”
For a moment, no one breathed. Then the room erupted.
Bethany (screaming): “WHAT?!”
Her phone slipped from her hand, clattering onto the floor.
Bethany: “You told me you barely knew her, Larry! You said it was nothing!”
Larry stepped back, his face drained of color.
Larry: “I—I didn’t know, Bethany! I swear! It was a mistake—”
Shayla (voice breaking): “A mistake? You told me you were divorced! You lied to me, Larry!”
Bethany’s fury turned to pure disbelief.
Bethany: “Divorced? He’s been married to me this whole time!”
Anthony slammed his fist against the wall, his voice raw with anger.
Anthony: “I knew it! I knew something wasn’t right!”
He grabbed his jacket and stormed out, the door slamming behind him so hard the windows rattled.
Larry sank into a chair, burying his face in his hands.
Larry (broken): “I never meant for this to happen… I swear I didn’t.”
Shayla stood, tears streaming down her face. Her voice was quiet, but sharp as glass.
Shayla: “You all called me a liar. You said I made it up. But guess what— DNA doesn’t lie.”

Larry looked up, eyes hollow with regret. But no one was listening anymore.
The doctor quietly folded the papers and slipped them back into the envelope — as if sealing away the last piece of peace any of them would ever know.
And just like that, one truth shattered every lie they thought they could hide.
