Iman Loves Shayla Deeply in Front of Everyone… But He’s Definitely Hiding Something 💔
Shayla couldn’t stop smiling. Her friends were still teasing her as they left.
“Girl, Iman really had you glowing today!”
She laughed, brushing them off. “Y’all just jealous,” she said playfully, but inside, she felt something she hadn’t felt in a long time — peace.
Iman had made her feel special in front of everyone, holding her close, whispering compliments that made her blush. For Shayla, moments like that were rare… and precious.
But that night, everything changed.
As she sat on her bed scrolling through her phone, a notification popped up from an unknown number.
“You sure you know everything about Iman?”
Her smile faded.
“What kind of question is that?” she muttered, thinking it was a prank. But a few seconds later, another message appeared — this time with a photo.
It was Iman… standing with another woman, holding her waist. The timestamp read May 2021.
Shayla’s heart dropped. “No… this can’t be.”
She almost called him right then, but stopped herself. “No, I’ll ask him in person.”
The next morning, the smell of coffee filled the kitchen. Iman was humming softly, unaware of the storm brewing behind him. Shayla walked in, phone in hand.
“Iman,” she said quietly, placing it on the counter. “Who is she?”
Iman turned, confused — until he saw the picture. His expression shifted instantly.
“Shayla… that’s old. Please don’t do this. It’s not what you think.”
Shayla’s voice trembled. “You told me you never hide things from me. Was that a lie too?”
He sighed, stepping closer. “That woman… she was part of my past. Before you. I was a mess back then. But you changed me.”
“Then why not tell me the truth?” she asked, tears welling up. “You don’t hide things from people you love.”
“I was scared,” Iman said, his tone breaking. “Scared that if I told you everything, you’d walk away.”
Shayla looked down, silent. The air between them was heavy — filled with pain and unspoken doubt.
Suddenly, her phone buzzed again. Another message from the same number.
“You think he told you everything? Check his messages.”
Shayla froze. Slowly, she lifted her eyes toward Iman. “Is there more?”
“Shayla, don’t do this—”
“I can’t trust anyone right now,” she whispered, pulling her hand away as he reached for her. “I need space.”
She turned and walked out, tears blurring her vision. Outside, the cold air hit her face. She opened her car door and sat silently, staring at the photo again. That’s when she noticed something — the woman in the picture was wearing a gold bracelet. The same one Shayla had found in Iman’s drawer last week.
Her chest tightened. “You really did lie to me…” she whispered, starting the car. “But I’ll find the truth myself.”
The car drove off slowly, headlights fading into the night.
Inside the house, Iman stared at his phone, guilt written all over his face — until it vibrated again.
Another message from that same number:
“She knows.”
Iman’s eyes widened. “Who the hell are you?” he whispered.
The screen fades to black.
