Rone Tells Shayla the Truth: “Iman Wants Delicia.” What Happened Next Shook Everyone… 😱
LONG DRAMA STORY
Shayla had been pacing the living room for almost twenty minutes, her phone in her hand, her mind racing. She’d felt it for weeks—Iman acting distant, quiet, distracted. But she kept convincing herself it was just stress. Just work. Just life.
But the moment Rone texted her, “We need to talk. It’s important,” her stomach dropped.
And now here he was, standing in front of her with a look she had never seen on his face before—guilt, worry, and something that told her she wasn’t ready for what he was about to say.
Shayla crossed her arms.
“Rone, just tell me. What is it?”
Rone took a deep breath, rubbing the back of his neck as if trying to delay the inevitable.
“Shayla… I don’t want to be the one to hurt you. But you deserve the truth.”
Her heart thumped.
“Rone—what truth?”
He looked her dead in the eyes.
“It’s Iman… he’s been talking about Delicia. A lot. He… he said he wants her.”
Everything inside Shayla went still.
Silent.
Frozen.
It felt like someone had ripped the floor out from underneath her.
“What… what did you just say?” Her voice cracked.
Rone swallowed hard.
“He told Anthony. And Anthony told me because he was worried about you. I tried to stay out of it but… Shayla, Iman wants Delicia. He’s been planning to talk to her behind your back.”
Shayla’s eyes widened in disbelief, then anger, then heartbreak.
“No. No—Iman wouldn’t do that to me. Not after everything we’ve been through.”
Rone stepped closer.
“I wish I was wrong. But Shayla… he already messaged her.”
Shayla covered her mouth as tears instantly filled her eyes.
“Rone, please tell me you’re lying.”
“I’m not.”
His voice was soft, sincere.
“He’s been telling people Delicia understands him better. That she listens to him. Shayla… he’s slipping away.”
The room fell silent except for Shayla’s shaky breathing.
Her heart hurt—physically hurt.
And then something snapped.
She straightened her back, wiped her tears, and grabbed her phone.
Rone panicked.
“Shayla, what are you doing?”
“I’m going to see him,” she said coldly. “Right now.”
Rone shook his head.
“It might get messy—”
“Good,” Shayla hissed. “Because he started this.”
When she walked into Iman’s place, he was sitting on the couch scrolling through his phone.
He looked up—and froze.
“Shayla? What are you doing here?”
She held up her phone.
“Text Delicia again. Go ahead. I want to see it.”
Iman’s expression changed instantly—guilt, fear, defensiveness.
“What are you talking about?”
“DON’T LIE TO ME!” Shayla screamed, her voice echoing through the room. “You want Delicia? Really, Iman? After everything?”
He stood up.
“Who told you that?”
Shayla laughed bitterly.
“Oh, so it’s true.”
Iman stumbled for words.
“Shayla, listen—Delicia is just a friend. I was venting—”
“No. You said you want her. Rone told me. And Rone doesn’t make up stories.”
Iman’s jaw clenched.
“I should’ve known he’d run his mouth.”
“So it IS true,” Shayla whispered, her voice breaking.
Iman said nothing.
And that silence…
That silence was the answer she feared the most.
Shayla stepped back like she’d been slapped.
Her heart shattered right there in front of him.
“You know what hurts the most?” she whispered.
“That you couldn’t even respect me enough to tell me yourself.”
Iman tried to reach for her, but she jerked away.
“Don’t touch me.”
“Shayla—”
“No,” she said firmly. “If Delicia is who you want, then go chase her. But don’t ever come back to me.”
Iman’s face fell.
He never expected her to walk away so fast… so strong.
And then—
Rone suddenly appeared at the doorway, arms crossed, having followed her to make sure she was safe.
Iman glared.
“So you’re the one who started this?”
Rone stepped forward.
“I didn’t start anything. You did. I just told Shayla the truth you didn’t have the courage to say.”
The tension exploded.
For a moment it looked like Iman might swing.
But instead he just turned away, defeated, exposed.
Shayla walked past him without another word.
And as she stepped outside, her tears falling freely, Rone put a gentle hand on her shoulder.
“You did the right thing,” he said softly.
Shayla didn’t answer.
She didn’t need to.
Because everyone—Rone, Iman, Delicia, and the whole circle—
knew this one truth:
