Brooke Finally Breaks Up With Isaiah After Discovering His True Intentions — But His Tears And Desperate Apology Change Everything
Brooke thought tonight would finally give her answers about Isaiah… but instead, it forced her to make the hardest decision of her life.
EXT. QUIET PARK – EVENING
The sun is slowly setting. Soft orange light spreads across the empty park while a gentle wind moves the trees.
BROOKE stands near a bench, arms folded, looking serious. She has been thinking about this moment for days.
Across the path, ISAIAH walks toward her. He looks hopeful… almost excited. But Brooke’s expression doesn’t match his energy.
ISAIAH
Hey… you look serious.
Brooke doesn’t smile. She just looks at him quietly.
BROOKE
We need to talk.
ISAIAH
That sentence never means anything good.
Brooke takes a slow breath, trying to stay calm.
BROOKE
Isaiah… I’ve been thinking a lot lately.
ISAIAH
About what?
Brooke looks directly at him now. Her voice steady, but emotional.
BROOKE
About us.
The air between them suddenly feels heavier. Isaiah tries to keep the mood light.
ISAIAH
Come on, it’s not that serious.
But Brooke doesn’t laugh. She just keeps looking at him… and the silence makes Isaiah uneasy.
ISAIAH
Okay… what’s wrong?
BROOKE
You keep pushing things I’m not comfortable with.
ISAIAH
What do you mean?
BROOKE
You know exactly what I mean.
Isaiah looks down at the ground. The truth hits him harder than he expected.
BROOKE
This isn’t the first time we’ve had this conversation.
ISAIAH
I was just talking. I didn’t mean—
BROOKE
But that’s the problem. You keep bringing it up.
The wind blows gently through the park.
BROOKE
And it made me realize something.
ISAIAH
What?
BROOKE
I think we should break up.
Isaiah freezes. The world around him suddenly feels silent.
ISAIAH
What?
BROOKE
I don’t feel like you respect me the way I deserve.
ISAIAH
Brooke… no.
He steps closer, panic visible on his face.
ISAIAH
You’re misunderstanding me.
BROOKE
No. I’m finally understanding you.
Isaiah’s eyes begin to fill with tears.
ISAIAH
That’s not fair.
BROOKE
I need someone who actually cares about me… not someone who keeps pushing me into things I don’t want.
Suddenly, Isaiah drops to his knees on the pavement.
ISAIAH
Please don’t do this. I’m sorry.
People walking in the distance glance over, but Isaiah doesn’t care.
ISAIAH
I was stupid. I messed up.
ISAIAH
But I swear I care about you. More than anything.
Brooke stands frozen. She didn’t expect this reaction.
ISAIAH
Just give me another chance.
A long silence follows. The wind moves leaves across the path.
BROOKE
Isaiah… you should have thought about this before.
Isaiah lowers his head, still kneeling.
Then suddenly — a car stops near the park entrance.
The door opens. Someone steps out.
Brooke notices first. Her eyes widen slightly.
BROOKE
What are they doing here?
The figure begins walking toward them… but their face is hidden in the fading sunlight.
Isaiah slowly stands up, confused and tense.
Because whoever just arrived… was not supposed to see this moment.
FADE OUT
TO BE CONTINUED…
Next skit… the mysterious arrival might expose a secret Brooke and Isaiah never wanted anyone to know.
